Hello everyone!
Welcome welcome. We are about to get started with this gloriously delightful book club! Here is the list of books so far...

Moby Dick - by Herman Melville
Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire (perfect for halloween)
Searching for God Knows What –Don Miller
The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman
Three by Ted Dekker
Rabbit Redux by John Updike
A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers
The Secret Life of Bees by Susan Monk Kidd

We will be reading them in this order. (Although switches may happen along the way.) Everyone will be reading about 1 book a month. I hope that lots of discussion goes on on this page, plus we will be having a dinner at the completion of each book (maybe with delicacies relating to the story??...) I think themed parties would be awesome. Dressing up as favorite characters/economic states is highly recommended. I love you guys. Herman Melville... ships ahoy!!!!

P.S. It has been highly recommended to me to get the abridged version of Moby Dick although, if you are a purist, have at!
